Group Therapy is a great way to work towards healing while being in community with others. Group therapy can benefit individuals who are struggling with many different things including anxiety and depression. Group therapy can also be beneficial for social skills development and community development. When you participate in group therapy you are able to build healthy relationships and a support system, learn additional social skills, and gain new perspectives by listening to your peers. Group therapy usually involves a themed activity, art project, reading a book, or participating in a process group. We currently offer two different groups and each group therapy session consists of no more than 10 individuals at one time.
Our Teen Group, for teenagers ages (13-18), meets on Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 pm. Our Owl Group, children ages (8-11), meets on Thursdays from 5:15-6:15 pm. For more questions or to schedule for group therapy, contact us at the number below!
